TenantCloud Partners with TransUnion to Provide Better User Experience for Customers

Austin, TX, July [15, 2020] -- TenantCloud, a premier cloud-based rental accounting software, has announced a partnership with TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) to create more transparency between businesses and consumers by securely providing credit and public record data reports directly to landlords. TenantCloud was founded by Joe Edgar in 2014 to make sending and receiving rent payments easier. In addition to fee-free rent payments, TenantCloud has evolved to offer tools for rental listings, online applications and credit reports. With the newest addition of screenings powered by TransUnion, landlords will be able to get a more accurate picture of who is moving in through verified credit scores and nationwide eviction records.

Joe Edgar says: “We are always looking to find ways to save money for our landlord community and this new partnership does just that. We are able to bring a great product at a lower price and there is no better time than now to do that.” “The current environment is posing new challenges for landlords and underscores the need for solutions that standardize the resident screening process,” said Maitri Johnson, vice president of TransUnion’s tenant & employment business. “This partnership will enable landlords to make more informed leasing decisions and to better mitigate risk across their entire rental portfolio.” FULL RELEASE
